Modifying Existing vs Creating New

There are two ways you can add content to The PBBG Wiki: by either creating new articles or by modifying existing ones.

Searching for Articles

If you want to write about something, it is recommended that you use the search feature to see if an article already exists on the subject. If so, you can modify it by clicking the "edit" button on the top of the article page.

Creating a New Article

If no article exists, you will see a message inviting you to create it.

"Empty" Links

While browsing through our wiki, you will likely find various red links. These are links that a particular editor left "empty", which means that the subject should have its own article. By clicking on these red/empty links, you will be taken to the page where you can start writing for it.

Recent Changes

By looking at the Recent Changes page, users can monitor any and every modification that takes place. From there they can easily compare different versions of articles and edit or revert to older versions if they feel it necessary to do so. All versions of all articles are stored indefinitely, so even if a malicious user deletes an entire article, fixing it is as easy as reverting to an older version through this page.

Word of Mouth

It is very important that this site is known by the members of the PBBG community.

Our goal here is to not only catalogue various aspects of the games we play, but also to document notable people, teams, events, and other elements of our community that shape our collective experience. The more people we have to contribute to this cause, the more likely it is that we can properly document our own history.
